Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV Debuts At #1 With Just Under A Million Copies Sold

Billboard reveals the official first week numbers for Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV provided by Nielsen Soundscan. With 964,000 copies sold, C4 will go straight to #1 on the charts. It is the highest selling hip-hop album since Tha Carter III. An incredible achievement.

    i dont have anything against wayne, he’s making money, fair enough, whatever. but what does he ever speak of that actually matters?

    just a boring, ugly rapper who still speaks about the same old shit! what has he changed about the world? thats what rap is meant to be about.
