Kanye West’s ‘Theraflu‘ took the internet by storm yesterday and got fans excited about new upcoming solo material from the G.O.O.D Music boss. MTV spoke to Hit-Boy who revealed that ‘Ye recorded it over a week ago and the beat was originally sent to Khaled for his forthcoming Kiss The Ring album. Hear the back story above.

“I was in the studio with ‘Ye, and I was like, ‘Let’s do something for your album, and let’s do something for my album. Just use your best imagination on how I’mma deliver. I’m not playin’, When we get together, we just make some amazing music. On my end, I got this thing with ‘Ye where I tell him there’s no rules and there’s no regulations. It’s no format, and ain’t nobody gonna tell us nothing on what we’re gonna do,” Khaled said. “That’s how I wanted to come across on this record.”
