Welcome back to the weekly edition of Saturday Spotlight. We had another great set of submissions and had a very tough decision on our hands. Continued thanks goes out to those submitting music each week and our readers showing interest in the feature. We hope everyone is enjoying discovering new talent as much as we are. Moving on, this week we have two young MCs with some fresh rhymes and a dope sound — William Aston and JSWISS.

We once again want to make it clear that if your submission wasn’t picked in a particular week, you will still have a chance in the next editions if your music stands out from the rest. You are free to re-submit but please don’t spam us!

The cyphers are arguably the most anticipated moments of the BET Hip-Hop Awards each year and the channel has a significant lineup again for this year’s edition. After the jump, take a look at all the artists who will try to impress you with their freestyles on October 9th. Note that not all of them will be aired but you will be able to watch the remaining ones online on BET.com.

Game really has no chill at all. After episodes with 40 Glocc earlier this year, Game got into trouble again at Lil Wayne’s 30th birthday bash on Thursday night at Hollywood. TMZ reports CTE rapper 211 (2Eleven) approached Game and started talking ill on his face resulting in the fight. Jayceon was later kicked out of the party.

Hip Hollywood was granted access inside the venue for this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta that airs Tuesday, October 9th. We get a sneak peek of 2 Chainz playing the piano and then rocking out to ‘I’m Different’ during his rehearsal. Other performers at the show include Meek Mill, Rick Ross and Wiz Khalifa. Following that, the host takes us around the seating for some top stars like Diddy, Cassie, Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent, Young  Jeezy and Kendrick Lamar.

BET’s President of Programming Stephen Hill also reveals that there will be an all-star tribute to late Chris Lighty who passed away from alleged self-inflicted gun shot last month. 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Diddy and more can be expected to share the stage together for the tribute. Stay tuned!
