Prince made a rare appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to perform his latest single ‘Rock & Roll Love Affair’ for the first time on television.

Above is the aired footage of him killing it like usual but he also surprised fans by doing live renditions of his songs ‘Take Me With U’ and ‘Cream’ along with a cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough’. Watch a fan captured clip after the break.

But that’s not it. ‘The Dance Electric’ is a Prince-penned track performed by André Cymone who is a member of Prince’s pre-Revolution band and the Purple One performed his own version of the track last night on the show (via Audio Perv).

Man Prince never fails to amaze me! He can jam on that electric guitar! I don’t know if he will get the credit of one of the greatest guitar players like Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page, but he should. He will always be an icon.
