Eazy-E Virtual Performance At 2013 Rock The Bells

rock the bells 2013

The 10th Anniversary of the Rock The Bells festival kicked off last night in San Bernardino, California. Some of the headliners included Wu-Tang Clan, Black Hippy, KiD CuDi, Big K.R.I.T, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Common and more. The most talked about performances however, will be the “original virtual performances” from Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Eazy-E. Today, we have footage from Eazy-E’s performance as well as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony discussing how meaningful this virtual performance was for them courtesy of RevoltTV. Check the video after the jump.

  • I think it’s great seeing the holograms of famous artists that past from us perform on stage the way it appears. Eazy E was one of the “Godfather’s” of Hip Hop. The respect he gets from many artists today is well deserved by him. He changed a lot about music. When he started making music about real life situations, his credit sky rocketed. I believe he should be recognized for a long time for what he did for us. Music just isn’t the same without his change he provided us to make it about what’s really happening and leaving out the fiction.

Hopefully there will be more virtual performances by Eazy E in the future to continue reminding us of who he was and what he did for music.
