Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are nominated for 6 American Music Awards at tonight’s ongoing show including New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Favorite Band, Favorite Rap / Hip-Hop Album and Favorite Artist.

The duo has already won the award for Favorite Rap / Hip-Hop Album for The Heist at the prestigious show which is based on voting from fans, beating likes of Kendrick Lamar and Jay Z. They accepted the award via live video from Miami where they are performing at the latest tour stop. During the speech, Macklemore spoke on racial profiling, citing Trayvon Martin as an example and quoting Martin Luther King Jr.
