This post is part of our Play It On The Radio (PIOTR) series.

Pusha T’s debut album My Name Is My Name is doing better than most thought, thanks to appreciation from fans and critics. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper is now moving on to the next single from the LP to strengthen his campaign.

‘Let Me Love You’ featuring Kelly Rowland and where Pusha is doing his best Ma$e impersonation will serve as the new single on the radio which is impacting airwaves as we speak. It’s definitely one my favorite songs on the album. Now can we get a sexy video starring Miss Kelly herself?

The first line of this write-up should be:

Pusha T’s debut album My Name Is My Name is doing better than most thought, thanks to his expectations as a Def Jam artist releasing an album chock full of big name features and producers being lowered so low it’s laughable.

All this talk about Pusha T overperforming is like talking about how well special olympics kids are performing in events.

He’s in the same exact system and building as Big Sean (who got clowned for flopping for selling basically the same exact # of records), has released run of the mill urban radio singles featuring the likes of Chris Brown, 2Chainz, and now Kelly Rowland…and likely won’t even sell 150K copies before falling off the charts completely in a couple of weeks.
