The album which went to number 1 in 104 countries sold 617,213 copies in the US alone which will help the singer notch her fifth consecutive No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200. It will also be the biggest debut week for her, the earlier being B’day in 2006 which it moved 541,000 copies.
In addition to the above, it also becomes the biggest debut week by a female artist since Taylor Swift sold sold 1.2 million copies of Red in November 12, 2012. Congrats to Bey and the team on the great promo (without any promo).
