With the 2014 NBA All-Star weekend coming next week (2/14 – 2/16), Billboard has just announced that Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Janelle Monae, and more will headline the festivities.
Kendrick is set to perform prior to the Sprite Slam Dunk contest on Saturday, February 15th, while Janelle Monae is expected to perform during halftime of the NBA All-Star game on Sunday, February 16th. Pharrell on the other hand will be performing during the player introductions and is expected to bring out some special guests — probably Daft Punk and Robin Thicke, of course.
Other performers include Earth Wind & Fire, Gary Clark Jr., Dr. John, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue (who recently performed with Macklemore at the Grammy’s), and many more.
