Kanye West appeared in court today in connection with the photographer assault case which occurred last July. Kanye allegedly attacked a photographer outside LAX and was later charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft.
Kanye West pleaded “no contest” to misdemeanor battery today for the assault which was caught on tape as well. At the end of the hearing, the judge ruled for Kanye 250 hours of community service, 24 months probation, 24 private therapy sessions for anger management and one day in county jail. He also has to make monetary restitution of an undisclosed amount to the victims, which will be decided on June 17, 2014. Although he’s been ordered to spend a day in jail, he is expected to be booked and immediately released.
