iggy the new classic

Iggy Azalea and Future released their respective albums this week and the sales projections tell a mixed story.

The Australian rapper’s debut LP The New Classic is due to move 50-55k copies in the first week, which we would say is pretty decent. Her lead single ‘Fancy’ is now one of the fastest growing songs on the radio.

Future’s Honest on the other hand can also hope for a top 5 debut on Billboard 200 with sales in the 45-50k range. This is just slightly higher than what his debut Pluto did (41k) in the first week in 2012.
