the dream new 2 500x500

In January of this year, The-Dream announced that he had departed from his longtime label Def Jam which came as a surprise to everyone. A new home for him and his Radio Killa Records imprint wasn’t announced at that time.

His new single ‘Black‘ was released last month and soon after that, it became available for purchase on online stores like iTunes and Amazon. Both these stores and current Mediabase(radio) information clearly list his label as Capitol Records. It is however still not confirmed if he has been signed directly under Capitol or any of its independent divisions like Caroline, with whom 50 Cent signed a distribution deal for his G-Unit Records imprint in February.
