It’s tough to believe that this is already the second Saturday Spotlight in April of 2016 but that’s how time flies. This time around is no different in the sense that there’s some more great talent that we’re proud to showcase. This weekend we present JCharmz, GOLDe, China Mac, Chuck and JL & Lyricks. Enjoy!
Remember: We take submissions for this series. Please see guidelines here.
JCharmz
First up this week is New Jersey singer JCharmz who found some good success with his single ‘Dope Sex’ which is produced by KAHLI. He takes advantage of the push and releases a video for the record which is directed by Archetto of Max Out TV. Watch below and stay tuned for the forthcoming project.
GOLDe
Second is GOLDe who presents a record with the late Bankroll Fresh who sadly passed away recently and Jim Jones. The song is titled ‘UP’ and is produced by Eric Mobley and C-Breeze. It is a YesJulz exclusive but you can check it out below.
China Mac
Our next pick this week is China Mac who spilled his heart out on his single ‘Who I Am’ produced by NITO BEATS and now returns with the official visual. Picture Perfect directs the video which serves as a great representation of Mac’s struggle in his rhymes. Be sure to check this one out below.
Chuck
Penultimately we have Chuck who is from Maryland and team up with Atlanta’s Johnny Cinco on ‘I Fell In Love With The Money’ on which the production is handled by CashMoney AP. Chuck will release a full project later in the year but this is a good idea of what to expet. If you like what you hear, you can support the single here.
JL & Lyricks
Last but not least are JL & Lyricks, a Korean duo from New York/New Jersey who have the honor of being recently signed to Far East Movement’s management. In their new video ‘Check 2 Check’, they describe the difficulties of being up and coming rappers whilst working a regular job. A pretty funny concept but full of dope bars. Check it out below.
