Jeezy is dropping his new album Pressure on December 15 and one of the most awaited songs on it is ‘American Dream’ featuring Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. It might just be one of the biggest songs of this year.
Jeezy held a listening session tonight for the album in New York City (we couldn’t make it unfortunately) where he played some songs from the album for the first time. ‘American Dream’ was blasted from the speakers too and luckily for us fans, the footage was caught and shared by journalist Eric Diep on Twitter. The two snippets give us a good idea about the song where all three rappers have a verse each. Jeezy is handling the hook.
The song sounds solid so far and doesn’t look like it will disappoint. Over the weekend, we spoke to producers of the song, SoundSmith who had revealed to us that it samples Bilal. Check out the dates for Jeezy’s Cold Summer tour announced earlier today, here.
