Chicago Rapper Fredo Santana Passes Away

There is some sad news coming in at this hour. Chicago rapper Fredo Santana has died. He was 27 years old.

The news initially spread after Texas rapper Maxo Kream posted about his death on Instagram. The word quickly spread and now several people including Drake have also confirmed the unfortunate news. Fredo appeared in Drizzy’s music video for ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home‘ where he plays the guy who kidnaps the Toronto rapper’s girlfriend.

The exact reason for his death is not confirmed yet but back in October, the Drill rapper was in the hospital with liver and kidney failure. “I’m getting back to normal sorry to all my fans turbo bandana will not be dropping tomorrow due to my health issues,” he wrote explaining reasons behind delay of his joint project with Chief Keef, Turbo Bandana. “Thanks for everyone who prayed for a n*gga I wouldn’t wish this on my worse enemy.”

Before that in March too, he had to visit the hospital after suffering a seizure. Fredo rapped and talked about his drug usage regularly, particularly lean. Rest in peace to Fredo Santana.

UPDATE: Fredo died after suffering a seizure. His girlfriend was the one who found him lying dead on the floor at his L.A. home, reports TMZ.
