As we informed you last week, Dreamville rapper Cozz’ new studio album Effected hits stores later tonight (in the U.S. that is), which will be the follow up to his debut album Cozz & Effect.
When the tracklisting was unveiled, two big names in J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar immediately grabbed our attention for obvious reasons. Effected is now out early in select international markets like Australia and New Zealand so fans residing there can already stream the album via Apple Music. ‘Hustla’s Story’ features a melodious chorus and an outro of sorts from Kendrick Lamar.
‘Zendaya’, which doesn’t sound like it has anything to do with the singer/actress of the same name, finds J.Cole opening the song with a fiery and well constructed verse which will make the Dreamville fans very excited. It has an interestingly chopped sample throughout as well. Stream/preview it below.
UPDATE: The album is now out everywhere.
