Two weeks after Meek Mill spoke with Lester Holt from prison, he returned to his show NBC Nightly News for a second interview. But this time, as a free man.

Meek Mill was granted bail by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Tuesday after being sentenced in November to two to four years in prison for a probation violation — a decision that was criticized by his supporters as too harsh. Part of their interview for the upcoming special aired on NBC Nightly News on Wednesday. Meek told Holt he was experiencing “culture shock” now that he’s finally out of prison. “I haven’t slept one minute,” he said.

“No, I don’t feel free,” Meek added when Holt asked how he feels right now. “I ain’t feel free since I caught this case at the age of 19. I’m 30 now. And me, I pray. I believe God is my first lawyer, I always believed that. And, you know, I got a strong team behind me, I got a lot of support. There’s a lot of light shedded on my situation.”
