After helping Kendrick Lamar achieve super stardom a few years ago, the next artist in line for Dr. Dre is Anderson .Paak.
The musician, who is known for his talents in rapping, singing and playing instruments, is working on his new album with Dr. Dre. It will be released through Dre’s iconic label Aftermath Entertainment. A few days ago, .Paak released the first single ‘Bubblin‘ along with the music video and told Zane Lowe that he was “getting the album right” in the studio with Dre.
Early this morning (May 25), Anderson .Paak did a brief session on Instagram Live from the studio in the presence of Dr. Dre. After fooling around for a couple of minutes, Dre let it slip that .Paak’s upcoming album is titled Oxnard Ventura, named after the artist’s hometown in California.
Last night, .Paak and his band Free Nationals performed ‘Bubblin’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
