Producer Noel “Detail” Fisher has crafted hits for the top artists in the industry, including Drake, Beyonce and Jay-Z. He has been now accused of raping and abusing two singers.
According to the court documents obtained by The Blast, Kristina Buch and Peyton Ackley claim that Detail repeatedly raped them in front of other people, manipulated them on the regular, and once assaulted them for six hours continuously. “I was trying to leave and he held me down and I couldn’t get away and he raped me,” one woman wrote in the lawsuit. Detail allegedly forced them to “have vaginal/anal sex with him after recording songs on multiple occasions.”
Following the breaking of the news, singer Jessie Reyez chimed in and revealed that her 2017 single ‘Gatekeeper’ was inspired by an incident she once had with the producer. “One night, over 6 years ago Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher tried this on me,” she wrote. “I was lucky and I got out before it got to this. I didn’t know what to say or who to tell. I was scared. Fear is a real thing. The girls that came out are brave as hell.”
Singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha also echoed similar sentiments about Detail, commenting: “He tried to do the same thing to me when I was new artist,” adding “Glad these women came out. It’s scary. He tried to with me, but I literally ran out of that studio. Karma is a b*tch.”
That’s not it. Now Tinashe has also come forward and revealed that she too had a bad experience with Detail at a studio session which she left immediately. “The only session I’ve been in to this day where I left due to being soooo uncomfortable. Glad he’s being exposed for the f*cking creep he is,” she wrote. See the screenshot of her comment below.
