Nicki Minaj returned to the scene after a hiatus last month when she dropped two singles at once — ‘Chun-Li’ and ‘Barbie Tingz’ with the former one sticking more with the audience. Since then, ‘Chun-Li has been hovering around the top 20 of Billboard Hot 100 but now with the music video doing well, the song will only go higher from here.
Tonight, Nicki was tapped as the musical guest for the season finale of Saturday Night Live and she made the most of it. After a slew of funny skits, Nicki took the stage to perform her popular single ‘Chun-Li’ with a stage setup that was similar to the one in the music video. Watch it below (via mwp).
Nicki later came back and invited Playboi Carti to perform their just released collaboration ‘Poke It Out’ which appears on the later’s new album Die Lit.
Earlier this month at the MET Gala, Nicki announced that her next album titled Queen will be in stores June 15th.
