Drake Hints at Double Album with ‘Scorpion’ Billboards

We’re only a week away from Drake’s new album Scorpion which hits stores June 29th and in lead up to the date, several billboards promoting the album have popped up in the rapper’s hometown, Toronto.

Drizzy is known to give out cryptic messages in his promo and songs. He follows the same pattern in this advertisement strategy as well. One billboard features a owl about to snatch a scorpion and underneath it, there’s another smaller billboard that reads, “changing from boy to a man.” Then there is one which reads “Don’t hit me when you hear this” which hints at some content on the album that may be controversial. Perhaps some kind of response to Pusha T as has been previously reported? See all of them below (click to enlarge)

However, the most interesting one out of all is the board which says “A Side B Side” which could possibly hint at a double album containing two sides. With the amount of songs Drizzy usually records for his albums, this won’t be shocking. Drake’s latest single ‘I’m Upset’ received a Degrassi reunion-themed music video eight days ago.
