Kanye West And Virgil Abloh Hug & Cry at Debut Louis Vuitton Show in Paris: Watch

Virgil Abloh was recently named luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s new Men’s Designer and had his first-ever collection showcase at this season’s Paris Fashion Week today.

The person behind the popular Off-White brand is presenting his debut collection today which is being closely watched by fashion critics around the world via a livestream which can be watched here. This is of course an important showcase for the 37-year-old who became Louis Vuitton’s first black artistic director in the label’s 164-year history.

When it was revealed that Kanye West was going to be in attendance at the show, it came as a surprise to some as there have been talks of a friction between the two lately. Kanye called Virgil’s move to LV a “burden” on his mind in an interview back in April. But today, that seemed to be all of past. When Virgil was walking down the pathway, he made sure to see Kanye on the way and the meeting between the two was surely a moment they will remember for years. Kanye and his former creative director hugged and cried in each other’s arms as the band in the background played tunes from Kanye’s recent album ye.

Watch footage of the emotional moment below. Also in attendance at the show were Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner.
