Kodak Black ‘Dying To Live’ First Week Sales

UPDATE (Dec. 21): The final numbers are in. Kodak takes the #1 spot with 93,785 copies sold first week with 4,398 of those coming from pure sales.

Previous story:

Kodak Black released his sophomore album Dying to Live this past Friday featuring the hit single ‘ZEZE’ with Travis Scott and Offset. The album also features guest appearances from Lil Pump and Juice WRLD.

The reaction to the album has been pretty positive from fans but how is it slated to do on the charts? HDD projects that Dying to Live is on course to move approximately 60-70k copies in the first week, with 4-7k out of that expected to come from pure sales. This is a similar number to what his debut Painting Pictures did in the first week (71k) in 2017.

The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, featuring new music from Lil Wayne & Ty Dolla Sign, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone & Swae Lee, and more is expected to do 35-45k copies in first week.
