Robin Thicke has not been active musically these past couple of years. His last album Paula, dedicated to his ex wife, Paula Patton was released in 2014. The pair was together for nearly 21 years, including 9 years of marriage.
The singer is now settled with his girlfriend April Love Geary, who gave birth to their daughter Mia Love Thicke earlier this year. Thicke now seems to be planning a comeback to music as he unveils his brand new single ‘Testify’ today, via his own imprint Thicke Music and distribution from EMPIRE. Listening to some of the lyrics, it sounds like it is dedicated to the stability that his new partner has provided in his life.
“When I made this record I wanted to sing my whole truth and lead off the new album singing my ass off,” said the singer about the track. Listen below.
