Drizzy Drake and the OVO crew took NYC this week to not only promote his new album Nothing Was The Same, but to also promote his favorite video game, FIFA 14. Drake hit up some spots in the city including Times Square, Legends, and some local soccer fields to give away some free copies of the game.

Barnyes NYC Holiday

Jay-Z and luxury department store giant Barneys have collaborated for a special campaign for this upcoming holiday season. Today confirms previous rumors that Jay was working on something with Barneys as we get some images of the pieces in the collection. The campaign is called ‘A New York Holiday’ and 25% of the proceeds will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation. The collection will include pieces from brands such as Balenciaga, Balmain, Lanvin, The Elder Statesman, En Noir, Rick Owens and more. We all know Wale is one of the biggest sports fans in the game and is always reppin’ his Redskins. Thus, no better person to create the theme music for Redskins’ quarterback Robert Griffin III’s new documentary RGIII: The Will to Win. Wale’s track is titled ‘No Pain No Game’ and a part of it plays over the trailer above. The full documentary debuts on ESPN on Tuesday, August 27th at 7pm EST.
