Talk about a good photoshop job.
After much talk about the rollout of her new album, Mariah Carey has finally unveiled the details herself. The legendary singer’s 14th album is interestingly titled Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse and if you are interested in knowing the inspiration behind it, you can watch the video announcement below.
The standard edition of the album has 15 cuts with appearances from Nas, Miguel, Wale and Fabolous while the deluxe edition features 3 extra tracks with guests Mary J. Blige and R. Kelly.
Fans can already pre-order the LP on iTunes which hits stores May 27 but international pre-orders will begin later this week.
UPDATE: There is an alternate version of Mariah Carey’s Oz The Great And Powerful film soundtrack track ‘Almost Home‘ which has surfaced online. It has a totally different beat and slightly altered vocal arrangements. You can listen to that after the jump.
