BET will be paying for an ill timed joke they posted on social media while praising Cardi B’s GRAMMY win and dragging Nicki Minaj in the process.
BET’s social team posted an article on Facebook about Cardi winning a GRAMMY for Best Rap Album on Sunday night where they captioned it “meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” The post was obviously noticed by fans who brought it to Nicki’s attention. While the rapper’s die hard fans are criticizing the post, Nicki has announced that she will no longer perform at their BET experience concert in June. She was set to perform at the event with Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez & more on June 21 while Cardi B was booked with Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby and City Girls for June 22.
BET experience is a series of events which take place right before the BET awards show. “Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show,” Nicki tweeted. She also encouraged fans to get a refund for the tickets already purchased.
Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show. ♥️🙏🏽♥️ Summer Tour dates dropping soon 🦄
