Usher, Ludacris and Lil Jon have teamed up for the third time on the brand new single ‘Sexbeat’.
The campaign for the track was pretty accidental as Lil Jon debuted it right after his battle with T-Pain the other day, getting 250k fans tuned in excited in a big way. Jon mentioned during the stream that the track was done almost two years ago and usher was holding on to it while he was trying to convince the veteran singer to drop it for the fans.
‘SexBeat’ is now out everywhere and follows the trio’s huge hit âYeah!â which ended up becoming one of the biggest worldwide hits in music, and ‘Lovers & Friends‘ the same year. This new slow jam almost sounds like a sequel to the latter. Stream it below.
Earlier on Thursday, Diplo, the producer of Usher’s song ‘Climax’ revealed that the Weeknd’s soundscape was an influence in creating the hit. The Weeknd also tweeted, crowning Usher a “king.” The reaction came out the singer said in a recent interview that he initially felt angry when he heard ‘Climax’ as he thought that Usher borrowed his sound.
