Rod Wave continues to impress as he is the latest artist to perform for NPR tiny desk concert series.
The rapper-singer, who is fresh off a number 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Soulfly, kicked off his set with a mashup of Drake’s opener from Drake’s Take Care, ‘Over My Dead Body’ and his own song ‘OMDB’. Rod had sampled the Drizzy track for his song ‘OMDB’ so it only made sense to do a mashup for Tiny Desk.
Following that, Rod performed his hit ‘Rags2Riches’ plus other tracks like ‘Street Runner’ and ‘Don’t Forget’. Watch it below.
