Lil Nas X, the multi-platinum recording artist and the new president of League of Legends, has teamed up with LoL Esports to release his new single following two sold-out performances at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
As announced last week, the song is called ‘STAR WALKIN’ and turns out, it’s actually a very pop sounding tune over a drill influenced beat. Riot Games had announced that Lil Nas X has come onboard as the new President of League of Legends (“League”), one of the most-played competitive games in the world.
The rapper-singer will be responsible for creating explosive musical moments, an ingenious League champion skin, and a spectacular live Worlds performance in his new role for the 180+ million monthly players and fans in the League universe.
The song is released together with an animated music video that features famous San Francisco landmarks, the location of the World Final, and both former and present League of Legends professionals. Check it out below.
