The Dreamville fest over the weekend at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park was a big success with J. Cole closing the festivities with some help from Drake.
Cole put up a solid performance on the stage, performing popular songs and deep cuts from his catalog for the sold out crowd. Fans around the world were a little worried whether Drizzy’s part will be live streamed or not as the information released prior by the organizers was not very clear. Thankfully, we all got to witness the great show from the comfort of our homes.
Drizzy performed several of his songs but also brought out special guests that included Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne and GloRilla. Towards the end, he dedicated a few lines to J. Cole and the latter returned the favor by giving the Canadian superstar his flowers.
“Bro, we are wild, amazed, blown away by your greatness bro, it gives us chills to see you do this sh*t at the highest level non stop, and constantly serve us and bless us with the soundtrack to our lives, I’m blown away by your greatness bro,” said Cole while the two shared the stage.
