Fans have been anticipating the release of Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album, the follow up to 2012’s stellar debut good kid, m.A.A.d city. The Compton emcee has chosen to stay tight lipped about the project so far but in the new issue of Rollingstone, he opens a bit about the LP which is due before the end of the year.
“There was a lot left out of good kid—it could have been a 30-track album. There are a few new [songs] that can tie in with what I was talking about.”
K. Dot also revealed that we can expect “aggression and emotion” in the sound but not too many features and that he has cut “a bunch of tracks” with Dr. Dre in addition to in house TDE producers like Digi+Phonics.
