How’s it going HHNM readers? Welcome to this week’s Saturday Spotlight, where we shine the light on 2 upcoming artists who caught our attention this week. For our first spotlight, we have the very impressive 11 year old Lil Waah, who is the son of Joaquin “Waah” Dean(co-founder of Ruff Ryder) and first cousins with Swizz Beatz. Next, is Chi-town’s EMP DASME with an incredible new video. Enjoy!
Lil Waah
11 year old upcomer Lil Waah is a force to be reckoned with, even at his young age. He comes through with his energetic banger ‘Pop A Wheelie’, which shows the youngin’s lyrical ability over a dope instrumental. Lil Waah has an excellent flow for being so young and it seems that intellectually speaking, he’s right there with the rest of ’em. With his father being the co-founder of Ruff Ryder and having Swizz Beatz as a first cousin, I’d expect this kid to have as long of a career as he chooses to. Check out ‘Pop A Wheelie’ below and keep an eye out for Lil Waah.

EMP DASME
Reigning from the streets of Chicago, next up we have EMP DASME and his awesome new song/video ‘You See Me’ produced by C-Sick. Although this dope track won’t appear on EMP’s upcoming mixtape ‘The Consortium’, the midwest native felt it was necessary to attach some visuals, rightfully so. Take a stroll through the beautiful city of Chicago in this well-shot video from Good Vibe Films and purchase the new single here. EMP DASME’s new project will be out in 2014 and we’re excited to hear what he’s got cooking up.
