Mac Miller’s Watching Movies With The Sound Off was criminally slept on in 2013. He pushed 100K in the first week and landed the “Comeback Artist Of The Year” spot on several year end lists.
Recently, Mac linked up with MTV‘s Rob Markman to discuss his plans for 2014. Mac revealed that he already has 4 albums in the works and although they’re not fully complete yet, he has the foundation for all 4 of them, and at least 7 tracks per album finished. Mac also said that the next ‘Mac Miller’ album(instead of any of his alter egos) happened by accident; I don’t know what that means, but it’s probably a good thing.
Mac also talked about Jay Electronica and how he was originally going to be featured on ‘Eggs Aisle’ from WMWTSO. Instead, he ended up on ‘Suplexes Inside of Complexes and Duplexes’, which Mac happened to produce. Hit the jump to see both clips.
