J-Real
They say it takes 10,000 Hours to be great at something. Embark with J-Real as he takes you on his journey filled with smooth melodies and even smoother beats. Production from Money Montage, 800 Hertz, & Dope Fantasy mostly control the vibe with their harmonic blends. With TCM’s DJ Grady, DJ Iceberg, & DJ Flatline overseeing the mixtape, The 10,000 Hour Story, from start to finish will explain the challenge of chasing perfection in your day to day life.
David Cash
David Cash made a strong impression at the top of the year when he released his mixtape Escape featuring the likes of Cardo, Clams Casino, DJ Mustard, Nipsey Hussle, Problem, and several others. Determined as ever, David is focused on his next full length effort and continues to build momentum with the release of the official visuals for his collaboration with singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger. ‘Whatever Now’ will be featured on Cash’s upcoming project California C.A.S.H., which will also include features from Young Thug, Metro Boomin, Jay 305, Scotty ATL, Alley Boy, and more. Watch the ‘Whatever Now’ video above.
Redway
To follow up the release of ‘Right Now,’ Toronto artist Redway returns today with the second single from his forthcoming 9-track collaborative EP with Grammy-nominated producer WondaGurl. The aforementioned EP will be available on iTunes on August 19th, but thanks to Redway, we have a promising new tune to hold us over. Check it out below.
TIMO
After dropping ‘Grow Up’ featuring Finally Famous rep Earlly Mac at the top of the year, TIMO has been laying all the groundwork for his upcoming full-length release. Featuring Chicago rapper Alex Wiley, TIMO’s lead single ‘Shine On’ comes loaded with next-level production from the extremely talented YOG$. This is the first official work off TIMO’s upcoming project Start Dancing, which will also come with appearances from Chavis Chandler, FowL, and Gino The Ghost. Expect the project to drop as we near the end of the summer.
Mazon
Harrisburg, PA native Mazon premieres another visual from his critically acclaimed mixtape Moxy called ‘She Good.’ Produced by Brooklyn, NYC team The Stuyvesants, She Good is an ode to Mazon’s ideal lady friend, one who can cook and take care of her responsibilities as a woman. Check out Mazon making a cameo in this video, and look out for the surprise ending. This is dope!
