[Saturday Spotlight] – Weasel Sims, Brandon Tory, Jay Verze, Jayo + Fuge

 

A lot of you will still be full from last night’s Christmas dinner but as the festivities continue, here is the final edition of Saturday Spotlight this year. We present to you Weasel Sims, Brandon Tory, Jay Verze, Jayo and Fuge. Enjoy!

Weasel Sims

First up is Chicago rapper Weasel Sims, who is the son of Rufus ‘Weasel’ Sims, a well-known drug kingpin. He links up with fellow Chi-Town rappers GittaaThomas and Lacy West for ‘Money Come To Me Now’, his hard hitting song. His I AM R.A.N (Real Artist Network) project is slated for a mid 2016 release.

Brandon Tory

For the second pick this week, Boston rapper Brandon Tory links up with frequent collaborator, producer FΔDE for ‘Personal’. The singer recently received a co-sign from none other than Timbaland which he’s taking advantage of right now with his project S H I N E. Listen to the latest single from it below.

Jay Verze

2015 is coming to a close and Jay Verze has decided to reflect upon his great year in his new song ‘Crazy’. On the Skinny Mooxe and Zo Beatz-produced song, he touches on the Baltimore riots, ISIS, the homicide rate in his city being the highest ever and more. Check it out below.

Jayo

Louisville, Kentucky has produced some great talent this year, with Bryson Tiller being one of the leaders on the forefront. Another up and coming singer is Jayo who links up with producer Ignorvnce for ‘Kill Da Stress’, a smooth cut. Look out for more content soon and hear this one below.

Fuge

Last up is Philly rapper Fuge who delivers a visual for his new single ‘Redd Foxx’. The song is set to appear on his forthcoming mixtape Let Me In 2 and on it he calls out gold diggers. Stay tuned for the project and take a look at the video below.
