UPDATE: Detail’s PR has reached out to us with the following comment about the situation:
“Detail’s insurance company wants to take action, but as of now Detail is not suing Drake. On the contrary, they have music that is coming out soon together.”

Detail has made a name for himself working on songs like ‘No Worries’ for Lil Wayne and Drake’s ‘305 To My City’ on Nothing Was The Same back in 2013. You’d assume all was well between him and the Toronto rapper but here’s an interesting development in their relationship.
TMZ reports that Drake invited Detail to be his exclusive producer back in 2014 but Detail declined because he didn’t want to be restricted to one artist. Apparently, Drake didn’t take too kindly to this.
The producer claims that when he was invited to Drake’s home in Calabasas a short while later with the intention of recording music, he arrived at 2 AM to Chubbs who broke his jaw and said the following:
I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?
Ouch. There’s no word on how much Detail is suing for but we imagine it’s a lot. Stay tuned for more details.
