Lil Wayne has had a hectic week where he has hinted at retirement (to the dissatisfaction of Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar and more), did the intro for a Fox Sports 1 show, performed at Made In America and the news that he is working on an EDM project was revealed.
Hopefully the retirement talk is fully in the past as Lil Wayne takes to TIDAL to release a brand new song called ‘Grateful’ featuring longtime friend and rapping partner Gudda Gudda and produced by Streetrunner. He recently announced that he is a part of the “L.A.T. (Loyalty Amongst Thieves)” group with Gudda and HoodyBaby. By the sound of some of the lyrics on this song, it would seem he has left Cash Money but he could just be thinking wishfully.
