Nicki Minaj Jokes About Releasing New Album At Midnight

Nicki Minaj has been quiet for a little while and only broke her silence recently with the release of ‘The Pinkprint Freestyle’ over Young M.A’s ‘Ooouuu’ which you can hear here. Today she took to Twitter to make a big announcement which half seemed like a joke regarding new music. It sent her huge fan base in a frenzy regardless.

Nicki first started to tweet about a new album called Pick My Fruit Out and said it will be out at midnight. An interesting title, for sure, which made us think it’s a big joke. Well, it turned out just that.

After getting thousands of replies including ones asking for track list for the album, the rapper said all songs are named after a fruit and she’s most excited for 10th track called ‘N*gga Toss My Fruit Salad’, featuring her “favorite rapper of all time.”

But after tweeting for an hour about #PickMyFruitOut, Nicki then broke some hearts by confirming that she was just trolling with her fans. “I been cryin laughin this whole time, btw… Good stuff,” she writes on Twitter.
