Tekashi 6ix9ine was set to release his official debut album Dummy Boy yesterday (Nov. 23) but his current legal troubles meant that to the dismay of his fan base, he had to postpone the release and put the album out at a smarter time. However last night, a few records from the LP surfaced online. Fans speculated that this was because the delay came so late in release week.
Tonight, the rapper has put the album up for sale on his website, likely to combat the leak somewhat. Fans who purchase the record from the site for $6.99 will be able to hear it immediately. It is not up on any streaming services at the time of publishing this article.
UPDATE: The album has now been taken down from his website but not before a lot of fans were able to purchase it.
UPDATE 2 (10 am ET, Nov. 27): Tekashi will release the album in a few hours from now.
Tekashi 6ix9ine album “DUMMY BOY” will be officially released in a few hours to all major outlets. This is the decision of Tekashi himself who despite being disappointed about its leak & his current situation wants his fans to enjoy his music. He says he loves and misses his fans
