It was in July, shortly after his album dropped when Chance The Rapper announced the dates for The Big Day Tour and it was September when Chance decided to change the name of the tour and postpone it to focus on family. He’d just had a second child at the time and felt that it was the right thing to do.
He was set to appear at most of the dates in the new year but earlier today on Instagram, he shared some disappointing news for fans. The Chicago MC has now announced that he’ll be cancelling the tour entirely, making the call that it was the best thing to do. In the time being, he plans to “be with family, make some new music and develop (his) best show to date”. He was apologetic and fans seem understanding, for the most part.
