Justin Timberlake opens JAY-Z’s 2013 album Magna Carta… Holy Grail with one of the best vocal performances of his career on ‘Holy Grail‘. JT’s part was actually written by The-Dream, who initially laid it down before Justin wanted to appear on the song.
So @TheKingDream just played a version of ‘Holy Grail’ where he’s singing the whole thing and Justin is nowhere to be seen. That is until the video paused for mad long leading viewers to joke that Jay called him to be like, “Yo! Turn that shit off!”

Yesterday during his songwriter battle with Sean Garrett, The-Dream played the version of the song with him on, after joking that JAY-Z was going to kill him for doing it. You can check out that clip above.
