In the early hours of the day, Nelly was arrested for possession of ecstasy.
The artist was asked by troopers at the Hollywood Casino in St. Charles to present identification. They eventually found out that there was an active warrant for him stemming from a previous traffic stop when it was discovered he had no insurance. When they searched him, officers found four ecstasy pills on him. He was booked for felony drug possession, as well as having no insurance.
He was taken to Maryland Heights Police Department and has since been released.
