Yesterday during the Radio Bog Boy interview, J. Cole was one of the new MCs that Dre said he would like to work with. Today Rap-Up reached out to J. Cole who had this to say:
“I did some work with Dr. Dre, without going any further than that.”
When asked if he will make the super-producer’s long-awaited Detox album or if Dre will contribute to his debut, he said “I hope so, I will tell you he’s incredible, absolutely incredible. He has life-changing music.”
And here’s his opinion on ‘Kush‘:
“I think that’s dope. That’s a very, very classic Dr. Dre-sounding record. I love the Snoop [verse], I love the hook, I love the raps, it’s really dope. I already know what a Dr. Dre mix is gonna do to that [record].”
