It’s trouble for Jeff Atkins and his acting & music career. Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers promised the rapper a two-year prison sentence for his Guilty plea. Ja asked for a dismissal claiming that in 2007 police had no right to search his Maybach where they found a loaded .40 caliber pistol and a small amount of marijuana which he confessed to having himself.
The Judge announced:
“Because of your guilty plea here today, you’ll have a record of having committed a violent felony. This is a very serious matter.”
