According to Woj (the greatest sports reporter alive), Jay-Z is looking to begin the process of divesting his share of Brooklyn Nets ownership to extend his Roc Nation Sports representation. The current league rules state, obviously, that no one connected with a player representation company can be involved with team ownership, so this is the logical first step. The selling process is expected to be completed early enough so that Jay’s agency can attempt to sign players entering the upcoming NBA draft in June.
