Who would have ever thought. Robin Thicke’s phenomenal run continues as his hit single ‘Blurred Lines’ shatters the all time radio record for the highest audience ever recorded. As of this week, the song has a total audience of 242.65 million listeners, breaking the previous record of 188.8 million. It also holds the feat of being the biggest single week downloads so far this year, racking up in excess of 428,000 sold during the week ending June 23rd.
‘Blurred Lines’ has spent seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 which is Thicke’s first appearance on top of the chart. His new album of the same name drops July 30th in the US.
