Last night, Kendrick Lamar performed at the BET Experience music festival at the Staples Center in Los Angeles which was followed by an after party hosted by TDE and Interscope. During the event, Kendrick was presented by a platinum plaque by Interscope and TDE teams for his amazing debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city.
The album has sold 938,389 copies so far in the United States. Congrats to the whole team!

UPDATE (August 21st): The album has officially reached the 1 million sales mark today. Much can be attributed to the buzz surrounding his ‘Control‘ verse which has been the talk of the town since its release last week. The album sold a solid 9k copies this week.
