T.I. released his eighth album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head in December last year and this past week, it reached a milestone of selling in excess of 500k copies. It certainly took its time but at least can now be called a moderate hit. Tip was able to achieve this with only one mainstream single (‘Ball’ featuring Lil Wayne). The label did try testing the radio with the Cee-Lo Green-assisted ‘Hello’ a few months ago but it did not work well.
He’s currently working on the follow up to the album titled Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown.
