I’m speechless.
It has been a running theme with YMCMB over the years that album dates are announced and pushed back repeatedly. Tyga is yet to release his 4th studio album, The Pinkprint is finally being released in just under a couple of weeks and Lil Wayne’s original date for Tha Carter V was May 5th.
Lil Wayne has just addressed the pushbacks of the first part of his upcoming LP on Twitter by expressing frustration at Cash Money Records and Birdman. Nothing like this has ever happened before, at least not publicly, between Wayne and Stunna.
Should we expect the unexpected or will Wayne’s Twitter have been “hacked”? Check out the Tweets and a response from Pusha T below.
UPDATE: His manager Cortez Bryant tells TMZ everything is good between Weezy and the label. Video posted below.
UPDATE 2: At the Vice Turns 20 concert in Brooklyn last night, Weezy confirmed that he’s in a “bad situation” and that he wishes to get out of it soon to release Tha Carter V for the fans. Peep the Instagram video below (spotted at MTV).
